Project introduction
Motto: “Join us to know architecture together, to learn how to recognise quality and to support this quality.”The aim of the architectonic competition Architect Award 2009 is to help students and young architects to find their place on the current architectonic scene, to make the wide public familiar with contemporaneous architecture and to make the study of architecture more attractive for young people. Last but not least, the competition will help to map creative work of novice architects.
We try
- to offer young architects a possibility of drawing the public’s attention to their work
- to stimulate interest in architecture and to attract young population to the study of architecture
- to support the public debate about architecture
- to provide the public with explanation of architecture principles in an unobtrusive way
