Binding requirements for preparation of the competing display panel

  • Format “A1” (width 594 mm, height 841 mm)
  • The competitor shall deliver the competing display panel electronically in the PDF format (printing quality, without registration and crop marks, the raster images used are min. 300 DPI in the magnification used)
  • Each competing display panel must contain parts 1) to 4) while complying with the following requirements
1) Obligatory header. For the purpose of preparation of the competing display panel please use only the header which corresponds to your category. Please use the specified typeface to fill in the header.
  • Design name – Helvetica – Light, or Ariel, upper-case letters, min. 50 points – white
  • Applicant/Author/Co-authors – Helvetica – Light, possibly Ariel 24 points – white
2) The text part will include a brief characteristic of the construction – description of the functional design, construction and building designs, location, materials, technologies, construction time, etc. Max. 2000 characters, including spaces.

Typeface – Helvetica, possibly Ariel – min. 20 points, kerning: 24 points – black, left justified. If the full number of characters is maintained, the text part should account for approximately 1/3 of the area which is available. The remaining 2/3 will serve for the graphic part.

3) Graphic part – recommended content
  • STUDIES
    • 2 – 4 perspective views
    • Situation, floor level layout, typical cross section, possibly a chart of the construction design of the building detail, or other documentation
    • During the use of raster images it is necessary to observe a minimum resolution of 300 DPI at the magnification used
  • IMPLEMENTATIONS
    • 4 – 6 photographs
    • Documentation which is considered by the author as necessary for the correct assessment of the construction (especially drawings – situation, typical floor level layout, typical cross section, possibly a chart of the construction design of the building detail)
    • During the use of raster images it is necessary to observe a minimum resolution of 300 DPI at the magnification used
